Peter's
Biography:
Peter
Scharnell has extensive Product and Marketing Management experience
within the Internet application services and software development
industries.
Peter is currently a Senior Product Manager at Compliance 360, and is responsible for their
compliance, risk, and audit SaaS software solution.
Prior to joining Compliance 360, Peter was a Senior Solutions Manager at
NCR where he was
responsible for their APTRA Vision financial solutions product line.
Prior to NCR, Peter was a Senior Product Manager at Silverpop Systems
where he managed the product lifecycle for their permissioned-based
email marketing and landing pages software application.
Before coming aboard Silverpop, Peter was the Director of Product
Management for PrimeRevenue,
a Supply Chain Finance software company. At PrimeRevenue, Peter was
responsible for defining new enhancements and improving existing
capabilities of the flagship Supply Chain Finance software product.
Prior to joining PrimeRevenue, Peter was the Director of Marketing and
Product Management at Electronic
Exchange Systems (EXS), a payment processing services
provider. Peter was accountable for all aspects of the marketing and
product management initiatives for the company.
Before joining EXS, Peter worked for over 7 years at ZLand, Inc., one of the first
application service providers, where he held key product marketing and
product management positions in the United States as well as the
European headquarters in Munich, Germany.
While attending college, Peter worked as an electronic forms designer
for First Electronic Forms, the first business of its kind. The company
was ultimately sold to Wallace Business Forms. Shortly thereafter was
when the Internet bug bit him and he's been working for web-enabled
software companies ever since.
Peter graduated from California
State University Sonoma, with a BA degree in Environmental
Planning. He is a native of Newport Beach, California and currently
resides with his family
in the Greater Metro-Atlanta area.
